The system calculates the duration from a given validity period and then displays the result. This takes place in the Time Specifications/Employment Period infotype (0552).
In this step, you can define a conversion rule based on the time specification type using the feature CRULE.
Standard settings
The standard display for the duration is displayed in years, months, and days.
Example
The duration of the validity period should only be displayed in calendar days for a particular time specification type.
Activities
- Determine the time specification type for which the duration of the validity period should be displayed in the required form.
- Determine the conversion rule to be used for the calculation of the duration.
- Make the required assignment in feature CRULE.
