In this activity, you define the employees for which the ruling for contractual civil servants is to apply, and those for which the ruling for government officials is to apply. This is defined using feature AVSTG (HR-PS AT: Increase).
For the automatic increase process, a decision is then made on whether the next increase date is determined from the key date for increase only, or from the last increase.
For contractual civil servants, the increase is carried out dependent on the key date for increase (calculation process VSTG for calculation of employment period) and table T5APBS06 (Pay Scale Reclassification ); transfer losses are to be specified via infotype Time Specification/Employ. Period (0552).
For government official, the date of the next increase cannot be automatically determined from the key date for increase, and it is therefore calculated from the last increase date and table T5APBS06 (Pay Scale Reclassification).
Standard settings
In the standard system, return value B (consideration of last increase date) is entered for employee subgroup AR (government officials) and return value A (automatic consideration of the key date for increase) is entered for employee subgroup AS (contractual civil servants).
Activities
- Check feature AVSTG and adapt it to your requirements.
- Save your changes.
- Choose Activate.
