In this activity, you define the point in time as of which the system is to take account of the new public service law for the increase. There are differences relating to the imputation of remaining times in the old and new public service law.
Example
For federal civil servants, the new law has applied since Jan. 1, 1995, for state government official since Jan. 1, 1996.
Activities
- In feature AWAHL (Austrian Alternate Law), enter the start date for the validity of the new public service law.
- Save your entries.
- Choose Activate.
Further notes
In feature AWAHL you define the start date for the validity of the new public service law generally for all employees. However, you can individually overwrite start date for individual employees. You make the settings for this in the next work step Set Up Individual Choice Old/New Public Service Law.
