Tax regions exist when an area of a country is subject to different taxation regulations with respect to taxation levels or tax exemptions.

Tax regions are assigned in the Customizing activity:

Activities

  1. Select New Entries.
  2. Enter the country.
  3. Enter the ID for the tax region.
    4. The ID can be numerical, alphabetical, or alpha-numerical and can contain up to 3 characters.
  4. Enter a description.
  5. Save your entries.

Further notes

For CRM and EBP scenarios, any tax region specific data should be copied from the existing the existing tables.
