Use

In this IMG activity, you map subtypes maintained for Exemptions infotype (0582) to reimbursement types.

An employee creates a request through Employee Self-Service (ESS). In a case, where request is eligible for tax exemption, system reads this table to determine the subtype maintained by you for reimbursement type of the request. The system creates a record in the relevant subtype of Exemptions infotype (0582).

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Select the reimbursement type.
  3. Select the subtype.
  4. Save your entries.

Example

Consider that you have maintained subtype for Exemptions infotype (0582) as LTA and reimbursement type as SLTA. Consider that you want to create record in the subtype LTA of Exemptions infotype (0582) for all the requests that have reimbursement type as SLTA and have tax exemption. To do this, select reimbursement type as SLTA and subtype as LTA. When an employee creates a request having reimbursement type as SLTA and tax exemption, the system reads this table. It reads the subtype maintained for reimbursement type SLTA. In this case, it will be LTA and creates record in this subtype of the Exemptions infotype (0582).
