Use

In this IMG activity, you define privileges of an approver group. An approver group can have the following privileges:

  • Change the amount claimed by an employee
  • Change the amount exempted from tax
  • Change payment mode of request

All the approvers belonging to an approver group are entitled to privileges assigned to their approver group.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Select the approver group.
  3. Select the Adjust Claim amount indicator to give the approver the privilege to change the amount claimed by an employee.
  4. Select the Approve Tax Exemption indicator to give the approver the privilege to change the amount exempted from tax.
  5. Select the payment mode that approvers for the approver group can change the request payment mode to.
  6. Save your entries.

Example

Consider that you have an approver group ADMIN_CORE. You want this approver group ADMIN_CORE to have the privilege to change the amount claimed by an employee. To assign this privilege:

  • Select the Adjust Claim amount indicator
  • Do not select the Approve Tax Exemption indicator

You have assigned the privilege to change the amount claimed by an employee to ADMIN_CORE. All the approvers belonging to ADMIN_CORE also have the privilege to change the amount claimed by an employee.
