Use

In this IMG activity, you:

  • Define the approver group
  • Assign approvers to the approver group. Each approver group can have multiple approvers.
  • Assign substitute approver for each approver of the approver group. If the main approver is not available due to some constraint, then the system can send the claim, advance request for approval to the substitute approver maintained for that approver.

You assign privileges to an approver group. All the approvers belonging to an approver group are entitled to privileges assigned to their approver group. The system determines the privileges of an approver depending on the approver group to which the approver belongs.

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Specify approver group.
  3. Specify the approver user ID.
  4. Specify the substitute approver user ID.
  5. Save your entries.
