Use

In this IMG activity, you map the action types maintained by you to the standard action types maintained for rosters. You maintain the action types in Personnel Action Types table (T529A).

The standard action types for rosters are:

  • H - This is the action type for personnel action hiring.
  • D - This is the action type for personnel action deputation.
  • R - This is the action type for personnel action transfer.
  • T - This is the action type for personnel action termination.
  • P - This is the action type for personnel action promotion.

System uses this mapping to maintain the assignment of a roster point ID with an employee ID after execution of a personnel action.

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Select the standard action type maintained for rosters.
  3. Select the action type.
  4. Save your entries.

Example

Consider a personnel action Hiring. The standard action type for this personnel action for rosters is H. Consider you have maintained the personnel action type for hiring as 01. Then you map the 01 to H.
