Use
This new payroll function is called directly after international payroll function WPBP and splits WPBP (if necessary) so that table WPBP will have splits that correspond to the assessment dates in the current pay period.

Activities
The payroll function finds all the assessment dates in the pay period (i.e. Staging, Hiring, Attaining EJH Status or the postponement dates of those events), then the payroll function decides whether the employee will meet the age criteria on any of those dates and whether any of those dates already exist as WPBP splits.
This payroll function cannot make an accurate assessment of qualifying earnings, it assumes the "worst" case, that the employee does meet the earnings criteria and will be auto-enrolled. This means that in cases where an employee turns out not to meet the earnings criteria they will get an unnecessary WPBP split, but this is unavoidable.
Secondly, the payroll function looks for all the splits in IT0071 that occur during the pay period and makes sure that WPBP has corresponding splits. This means that Contractual Joining/Leaving/Opt-In/Opt-Out all will create a WPBP split, so that pensionable pay can be derived for that split.
