Use

Sending Notifications

There are three possible ways to send notifications to an employee;

  1. Email
  2. Letter
  3. External Notification Solution

PAE Notifications are generated by 3 reports;

Staging Report            RPCPAEG0

Post Payroll Report            RPCPAEG1

Pre-Payroll Report            RPCPAEG2

Each of these uses exactly the same methodology for notifications;

  1. ALL types of notification are displayed in an ALV that can be extracted to MS Excel if required.
  2. ALL employees that are defined as requiring an Email (via the rules below) will receive notifications via email
  3. All employees that are defined as requiring a Letter (i.e. not an email) will receive notifications via a letter.
  4. Any notification can be stopped (i.e. not produced) by setting the STOP field in the notifications table to "1" or "2", where "1" implies don't issue the notification, but issue a warning message for that notification instead and "2" implies don't issue the notification.
