Testing based on Today's Date (SY-DATUM)
You will notice that the "Date Sent" fields on IT3297 are updated with today's date when you run the staging program (RPCPAEG0), post-payroll report (RPCPAEG1) or the pre-payroll report (RPCPAEG2) and "Print Letters/Send Emails". In a productive system this is correct, but in a non-productive system (i.e. a test environment) this doesn't make life very simple for the testers.
To this end, we have introduced a solution to this issue for non-productive systems. A new User Parameter has been added HR_GB_TODAY that can be set to ANY date that you wish (i.e. DD.MM.YYYY) that will override the use of today's date in just the PAE solution.
