Use
Generating Cumulative /117 Historically
The new cumulative for Qualifying Earnings (/117) needs to be generated in RT historically.
N.B. As Qualifying Earnings is never derived from CRT there is no need to generate /117 in CRT, but if you wish to have this value in CRT, then you can use the International Report RPUCRT00 to populate CRT from RT, once you have run the conversion program RPGBAE_CUM_117 to populate RT. To make the payroll create the cumulative in CRT going forward you will need to change Processing Class 30 to "1".
Requirements
Standard settings
RPGBAE_CUM_117 is an amended copy of RPUDECG0PBS_FILL_COSTS and as such has a similar "look and feel".
Activities
The only selection field that requires any thought is "Start Date for Conversion". The user needs to select how much payroll history to convert. In all cases, for all customers, this should be as far back as you allow payroll to be able to be run retrospectively (i.e. This should be based on the current settings for a specific payroll area in transaction PA03).
The report produces an output of statistics to show how many employees have been selected, processed and rejected.
You can then view the values that have been updated in RT. This view is restricted to just the wage types that are created by this program (/117, /A17 and /Z17) and not all wage types in RT.
N.B. The report can be run as many times as you wish. The wage types /117, /A17 and /Z17 are always deleted from RT, before new values are created.
