Postponement at Attaining EJH Status (Feature GBAE4)
In this feature you can activate postponement at the point when an employee Attains Eligible Jobholder Status. The return values offered allow postponement to number of possible dates (which have to be within 3 months of date when the employee Attains Eligible Jobholder Status), related to the employee's pay period start and end dates after they have attained Eligible Jobholder Status (details below).
Return Value Format: AA/BB
AA is the number of periods to postpone.
This will always be a number between 00 and 12 (i.e. 0-3 months or 0-12 weeks).
BB can have 5 possible settings
The first two are simply postpone the employee's enrolment a number of months or weeks. The number of months or weeks to postpone is held in AA above.
M exact calendar months (2nd character left blank i.e. " ")
W exact weeks (2nd character left blank i.e. " ")
The next five are more complex as they postpone the employee's enrolment with reference to that employee's payroll area (i.e. pay period start and end date). The number of periods to postpone is held in AA above.
L implies the last day in the period (2nd character left blank i.e. " ")
L1 implies the last day in the period, if not already the last day
F implies the first day in the period (2nd character left blank i.e. " ")
F1 implies the first day in the period, if not already the first day
NN implies the NNth day in the period from the period start date
N.B. Feature GBAE4 does not have any characters for the definition of the Postponement Notice Type as all deferrals at "Attainment of EJH Status" must use the same notice.
TJH Tailored Notice - Jobholder (Postpone all EJH and NEJH not in a QPS)

03/M Postpone 3 months and issue TJH
12/W Postpone 12 weeks and issue TJH
00/L Postpone to the last day of the current pay period and issue TJH
00/L1 Postpone to the last day of the current pay period and issue TJH, as long as the enrolment
date is not already the last day of the period
01/F Postpone to the first day of the next pay period and issue TJH
01/F1 Postpone to the first day of the next pay period and issue TJH, as long as the enrolment date is not already the first day of the period
01/F Postpone to the first day of the next pay period and issue TJH
02/F Postpone to the first day of the second pay period and issue TJH
03/F Postpone to the first day of the third pay period and issue TJH
