Use
You use the Business Add-In (BAdI) HRDEPBS_RECL_ABWES to take into account absences that are relevant for the pay scale level increase.
Requirements
The BAdI is called depending on the filter. The absence category that has to be created using the table T5DPBS3F before creating a new implementation is used as the filter value. After setting up a new implementation, this must be assigned to one or more absences using the table T5DPBS3G.
Standard settings
The standard system contains implementations for the absence categories Illness, Parental Leave, and Other. In addition, there are two special categories:
- The assignment of an absence to the category ABW_IGNORIEREN (Absence Is Not Processed) means that this kind of absence is not to be included when processing absences. This is the case for most absences anyway. However, it may occur for some absence types that, without such an assignment, they are processed with a warning in the log. (Specifically, these are absences in TVöD or TV-L that are identified as Parental Leave, Soldier Serving for a Fixed Period, Unpaid Leave, or Military Service according to table T5D0A.
- The absence category ABW_MANUELL_PRUEFEN should be used for absences that are to be checked manually by an administrator at all times. If an absence of this kind is found, this results in an error notification in the log. In this case, no entry is made in the batch input session.
Activities
Create customer-specific implementations if the implementations provided in the SAP standard system do not cover your special requirements sufficiently. First you must define the absence category and then use it as the filter in the implementation.
