In this Customizing activity, you assign a period parameter to each pay scale and, as a result, you set the relevant payroll periodicity.

Requirements

The SAP standard delivery assumes that a period is always one month.

The view Pay Scale > Period Parameter Assignment is not filled. A non-existent entry is interpreted as "monthly".

Assign the required period parameter to the sector wage agreements.

Example

Some employees receive a weekly wage while others receive a monthly wage.

For all employees, the infotype Basic Pay (0008) should, in each case, propose the correct number of hours for each period.
