In the TMW, time data administrators can enter Time Transfer Specifications records (infotype 2012) simply by selecting checkboxes. In this activity, you determine which time transfer specification is carried out by which checkbox.
Time transfer specifications are used as a switch in Time Evaluation. They are only filled with the number 1 and can only be entered for one-day records.
The checkboxes are numbered from 0 through 7. They appear beside the information on the day in the one-day view, and are integrated with table control in the several-day view.
You define the checkboxes for the time transfer specifications according to the personnel subarea grouping for time recording. Please note that you can make a maximum of 7 entries. If you want to offer the function to employees in different personnel subareas, you can only make a small number of different entries based on the number of personnel subareas.
Example
- You want to enter a meals per diem using a checkbox.
- You want to enter an overtime approval for the Attendance Quotas infotype (2007) using a checkbox.
Requirements
Schema processing must be guaranteed for the time transfers:
- You may have to call function P2012 at a different position in the schema (for example, to provide attendance quotas). Make sure that existing time transfer specifications can go on for further processing.
- You may have to set up new personnel calculation rules, time types, and so on, to process the time transfer specifications.
Standard settings
Recommendation
Note that the Time Transfer Specifications infotype (P2012) is relevant to a time evaluation recalculation.
Activities
- Create the time transfer specifications you want to use for the function.
- Specify which checkbox in the TMW you want to define. Assign a number from 0-7.
- Specify which time transfer specification should be carried out when the checkbox is selected.
