In this step, you may represent the pay scale progression defined in your collective agreement. You can set up this progression for your employees so that it is based on their age as well as length of time spent at a particular pay scale level.

Example

Your collective agreement stipulates that an employee must be transferred from group 01 to 02 after two years of being at the company.

Requirements

  • You have defined pay scale types and areas.
  • You have compiled a list of the collective agreements valid in your company.

Standard settings

The SAP standard system contains several model entries.

Recommendation

Use the above functionality.

Activities

  1. Use the SAP sample entries as a guide.
  2. Delete any unnecessary entries.
  3. Set up the pay scale reclassification according to your requirements.
    1. Choose New Entries.
    2. In the field Type enter the pay scale type according to the collective agreement.
    3. In the field Area enter the pay scale area according to the collective agreement.
    4. In the field G set up the employee subgroup grouping for the collective agreement provision as a differentiating option for the pay scales.
    5. Depending on date, enter the pay scaöe groups with their respective pay scale levels according to the collective agreement in the fields ColAgrGr and Level.
    6. If necessary, enter the age from which a reclassification should take place in the field AS.
    7. If necessary, in the field GrMD enter the duration of the membership in a pay scale group/level in years and months after which a reclassification should take place.
    8. In the fields FlgPSGr and FlgPSLevel enter the pay scale group and level that will be attained after the reclassification.
    9. Enter the wage types to be created or delimited in the Basic Pay infotype (0008).
