In this activity, you assign the Element to the Category. You also assign low and high Element values to a combination of Category and Element.

You can assign a sequence number to a cateogry if you want to define different conditions for the same catgory.

These assignments can determine, for example, whether an employee is eligible for a change in the Pay Scale Level due to seniority.

Example

You assign TRFAR to CT01. You assign the Low Val for Elmnt as 71 and High Val as 71 . The system assigns employees belonging to Pay Scale Type 71 to the CT01 category. Ths system then checks for eligibility of employees belonging to CT01 for a change in Pay Scale Level due to seniority, as far as this condition is concerned.

Activities

  1. Enter 20 in the Ctrpg field.
  2. Enter the category, for example CT01.
  3. Enter the sequence numebr in the + field, if required.
  4. Enter the validy period.
  5. Assign the Pay Scale Element.
  6. Enter the low and high values for the Pay Scale Element.
  7. Save your entries.
