Document Name
PBS_NO_ADD_500
In this activity, you assign the wage types to the additional postion reason codes.
Here, you enter the main position wage type, the additional position reason code and the additional position wage type. The additional position wage type will adopt all the characteristics of the main position wage type that you enter. The additional position reason is used to default the wage types in Activity with Higher Rate of Pay infotype (0509).
When you enter the Reason Code in Activity with Higher Rate of Pay infotype (0509), the Reason for new wage type for additonal position feature (APRSN) assigns an additional postion reason code to the additional position that you have created for the employee. Depending on the additional postion reason code, the system assigns additional position wage type(s) for the additional position of the employee. These wage types are used by the Recur. Payments/Deds. infotype (0014) to pay out the salary to the employee for the additional position.
You can also associate an additional position wage type with a main position wage type without maintaining a reason code for the association. In this case, additional position wage type will adopt all the characteristics of the main position wage type that you enter. But this additional position wage type will not get defaulted in Activity with Higher Rate of Pay infotype (0509). You can manually maintain this wage type in the infotype.
