In this step, you assign the simulation quota type for leave booking. This is used for deducting from different quotas when one leave record consists of different leave types.

EXAMPLE

An employee does not have enough quota to take the desired type of leave. So he can deduct the remaining days from future leave or anticipation leave. However, due to the system response this cannot be the same Absence Quota Type, but must be calculated with a different type. The original type is deducted in the Absence quotas infotype (2006) while the anticipation or future leave, which simulation quota type is specified in this step, is deducted with an amount of 0 and so does not create a record in this infotype.

Personnel Subarea Grouping for Time Quota Type 13

ACTIVITIES

For each Employee Subgroup Grouping for Time Quota Types and Absence Quota Types, dependent on the personnel subarea grouping, enter a Quota type for Simulation if necessary.
