In this step, you configure wage types for the public sector ABS interface by assigning the appropriate specifications to the wage types in the following processing and cumulation classes:

  • processing class 87 (Overtime Processing for ABS)
  • cumulation class 75 (Gross Wages for ABS only)
  • cumulation class 76 (Gross Earnings ABS only)
  • cumulation class 77 (Director Fees ABS only)
  • cumulation class 78 (Termination values for ABS)

Activities

To set up ABS wage types, you:

  1. Flag the wage types you want to use as ABS wage types, and choose Goto -> Details
  2. Enter specification 1 (Overtime Processing for ABS) in processing class 87, for the wage types that need to be considered for overtime processing for ABS.

    Alternatively, for the wage types that need to be considered for:

    • Gross Wages, set the Cumulation Class 75
    • Gross Earnings, set the Cumulation Class 76
    • Director Fees, set the Cumulation Class 77
    • Termination Payments, set the Cumulation Class 78
  3. Navigate between the wage types using Goto -> Next entry
