Use

In this Customizing activity, you define the contribution area in which a set of contribution rules to supplementary insurance are valid.

A contribution area is used together with the industry, contribution group and contribution level in the Supplementary Insurance (3532) infotype to determine the contribution base, rate and constant for a specific employee.

Note

Alternatively, you can make these settings in the VC_7CN20_SUI view cluster. To access the view cluster, call the sm34 transaction.

Activities

  1. Enter a supplementary insurance type and a contribution area.
  2. In the Pre or post tax field, choose one of the following entries:
    • A (Post Tax)
      If you choose this entry, the employee's contribution is taxed.
    • B (Pre Tax)
      If you choose this entry, the employee's contribution is free of tax.
