Use
In this IMG activity, you maintain the following:
- Labour Relation Intervention types
These are the types of concerns due to which a Labour Relations investigation is required.
- Status outcomes
This is the outcome of the actions taken to resolve a Labour Relations Intervention.
- Reason for intervention
This is a short description of the reason due to which Labour Relations interventions occurs.
- Role of participants
This is the role of any person who is involved with resolving the Labour Relations intervention.
- Role types
This is the employment status of the participant, for example, the participant is an internal employee or a resource from outside the company.
The values you maintain here are available for selection as subtypes for Labour Relations (ZA) infotype (3202).
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system, the following Labour Relations Intervention types are available:
- Abscondment
- Grievance
- Misconduct (Less Serious)
- Misconduct (Serious)
Activities
To create a new Labour Relations Intervention type:
- Select Labour Relation Types from the Dialog Structure.
- Choose New Entries.
- Enter the Labor Relation Intervention subtype code in STyp field.
- Enter the name of Intervention in Name field.
- Select a Time Constraint in the TC field.
- Save your entries.
To add a new Intervention Status outcome:
- Select the Labour Relations Intervention type for which you want to add a status outcome.
- From the Dialog Structure, select abour Relation types -> Statuses -> Outcomes
- Choose New Entries.
- Enter the Labor relation Intervention subtype code in STyp field.
- Enter the status code for which you want to add a new status outcome in the Status field.
- Enter the outcome code in the Outcome field.
- Enter the outcome description in the Description field.
- Save your entries.
To add a new Reason for Intervention:
- Select the Labour Relations Intervention type for which you want to add a new reason.
- From the Dialog Structure, select abour Relation types -> Reasons
- Choose New Entries.
- Enter the Labor relation Intervention subtype code in STyp field.
- Enter the Reason code in the Reason field
- Enter the description of the reason in the Description field.
- Save your entries.
To add a new Participant Role:
- Select the Labour Relations Intervention type for which you want to add a new Participant role.
- From the Dialog Structure, select abour Relation types -> Roles.
- Choose New Entries.
- Enter the Labor Relation Intervention subtype code in STyp field.
- Enter the role code in the Role field
- Enter the description of the role in the Description field.
- Save your entries.
To add a new Role type:
- Select the Labour Relations Intervention type for which you want to add a new role type.
- From the Dialog Structure, select abour Relation types -> Role types.
- Choose New Entries.
- Enter the Labor relation Intervention subtype code in STyp field.
- Enter the object type code in the OT field
- Enter the description of the role type in the Description field.
- Save your entries.
