In this step of the IMG, you derive the dismissal protection (DP) master data, based on the properties of the dismissal protection reasons you are processing. This information is derived by a function module. You can either use the function module provided by the standard or your own-configured function module.

Requirements
Standard settings
The standard provides a function module (HR99L00_DISMPROT_DATA_EXT, Function group HR99L00_DISMPROT) that derives the required information.
Recommendation
Activities
If you wish to use the standard function module provided by SAP:
- Copy one of the existing DPR
- Overwrite the number of the DPR with your own number
- Overwrite the number of the subtype that corresponds to the DPR
- Enter a feature (SAP provides a standard feature LADPG)
- Select the type of output message you wish to display
- Enter the descriptive text of the DPR
- Save your entries.
If you do not wish to use the standard function module, you must configure the model function module provided by SAP according to your needs. For more information about the function module, follow the link: HR99L00_DISMPROT_DATA_EXT.
