In this section the user assigns the payment method for severance pay.

Requirements
Before carrying out this activity, you can create your own function modules to calculate severance pay. To do so, follow the instructions set out in Venezuela Payroll -> Termination of Work Relations -> Severance Pay -> General Settings -> Definition of Severance Pay ->Define Severance Pay Calculation

Before creating your own function modules for calculating severance pay, check whether the function modules provided by SAP really do not satisfy your company's needs.
Activities
In order to perform this activity:
- Assign a function module to each severance pay code.
- Assign to each severance pay code the wage type with which the severance pay is to be paid:
The column on the left groups the wage types containing the payment of the corresponding severance pay.
The column on the right groups the wage types containing the deduction of the corresponding severance pay. This column is only relevant for making notified deductions, when the radio button "Deduction" is selected in the "Notice Data" box in infotype 654 (Work Termination Venezuela).
If the column on the right (deduction wage types) is not completed, the severance pay will be paid with the payment wage type (that has been assigned in the column on the left), regardless of the radio button selected in the "Notice Data" box of infotype 645 (Work Termination Venezuela)
- If necessary, assign a special attribute to each severance pay code (to control severance pay in the infotype).
- Save your entries.
