Use

In this activity, you can associate each absence quota selection rule defined in the Absence Quota Selection Rules table (T559L) with the type of date that will contain the start date for calculating employee seniority for leave and the leave bonus.

Requirements

Before doing so, you must make sure that the entries in the Associate Date Type with Absence Quotas table (T7VE10) exist in the T559L table. The date types must also be defined in the view of the Date Types table (T548Y).

Activities

To perform this activity, you must use view V_T7VE10 of table T7VE10 and, where necessary, associate with each valid absence quota selection rule entry the date type that should be read in Infotype 0041 for calculating employee seniority.

To check the T559L table entries with which you want to associate the date key you can go to the corresponding table T7VE10 field and press the F4 key.

The entries shown in table T7VE10 will be processed in the HR_QTACC_HIRE_FIRE_17 function module of the QUOTA function.

Example

1. Complete the Absence Quota Selection Rule table (T559L):

  • Employee subgroup grouping: 1
  • Personnel subarea grouping: 17
  • Personnel subarea grouping for time entry: 01
  • Selection rule group for quota type: 01
  • Selection rule for absence quota type: 001
  • Quota type: 01
  • Start date: 01/01/1990
  • End date: 31/12/9999

2. Now create an entry in the Associate Date Type with Absence Quota table (T7VE10):

  • Employee subgroup grouping: 1
  • Personnel subarea grouping: 17
  • Personnel subarea grouping for time entry: 01
  • Selection rule group for quota type: 01
  • Selection rule for absence quota type: 001
  • Start date: 01/05/1991
  • End date: 31/12/2010
  • Date type: VI

    Note:

    The start and end dates of both tables can vary, but the validity date of table T7VE10 must be contained in the validity date of table T559L.
