In this IMG activity, you determine how the system must process the Government Paid Maternity Leave (GPML) and Government Paid Adoption Leave (GPAL) wage types during a payroll run.
The wage types for GPML/GPAL are as follows:
- GPML AW Amount (/MLA)
- GPML Base Amount (MLB)
- GPML CPF Amount (/MLC)
- GPML OW Amount (/MLO)
The wage types use the processing class 89 to specify the cumulation of the GPML wage types. You can specify one of the following values:
- 0 - will not cumulate the wage types
- 1 - cumulate as GPML/GPAL wage types

Activities
To change the wage type settings for GPML/GPAL in the SAP standard delivery system:
- Select the required wage type
- Choose Goto -> Details
- Enter the validity period
- Define the specifications for Processing Class 89.
- Save your entries
