In this IMG activity, you can set the configurations that are necessary for a report to display employee specific comments.

For example, the Appendix 8B of Form IR8A has a Remarks section, wherein you can enter the employee specific comments.

In the SAP System, you can capture employee specific comments for a report using Additional Information (Singapore) Infotype (741) and the required subtype. The report checks the infotype for employee specific comments, and if present, displays the comment in the relevant Form or Appendix.

Activities

  1. To configure a new Text Key, select the New entries option. The Display IMG screen appears.
  2. Select the report for which, you are entering the employee specific comments, in the Subtype field.
  3. Enter the Text Key, using which the report must search for the employee specific comments in the Text Key field. Use the Text field of the Additional Information (Singapore) Infotype (741) to enter employee comments.
  4. Enter a Short Description and a Long description of the Text Key.
  5. If there is a legal limit on the length of text that you can enter, specify the same in the Text Len field.
