Use

In this activity you determine per rule group for the refinement of absences which individual rules for the relevant employees should lead to a refinement of absence evaluation.

You can define the individual rules depending on seniority or age. You store the meanings of the individual rules in the SAP enhancement HRPTIMAB or they are in the country-specific function module HR_COV_DETERMINE_MARK_xx. It is recorded here which content should lead to an absence being recorded and what this marker should look like.

Requirements

Find out if the function module HR_COV_DETERMINE_MARK_xx is available for your country-

Read the documentation on the function XNAB.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Select the actionn Create Rules for Absence Refinement.
  2. For each rule group for the refinement of absences determine which rules you want to set up. The field rule for the refinement of absences has ten characters and is alphanumeric.
  3. If necessary, define the rules using seniority or age. Specify the unit with which you want to consider the seniority or age (days, months etc.). If you want to create rules which do not depend on seniority or age, leave these fields free.
  4. Select the action Edit SAP Enhancement.
  5. If there is no country-specific function module, determine the processing of absences using the SAP enhancement HRPTIMAB.
  6. Add function XNAB to your schema (standard schema XT00). It must lie after the function RAB (importing absences) and before day processing of time data (IF PDC).
