Use

In this Customizing activity, you define which types of absences make an employee inactive and, therefore, ineligible for the Information System for State Organisation (SIOE) (RPCSIOPT0PBS) report.

You achieve this by changing the SIOE: Define Absences that Consider Employees as Inactive (PSIAB) feature.

Requirements

Standard settings

In the standard system, the type of absence is defined by attendance or absence type.

Activities

You use the Attendance or Absence Type (AWART) field to customize the feature.

You also inform the reason for the absence according to these rules:

  • For absence periods over 6 months that end in the reference quarter, enter one of the following reasons:
    • L: Return from unpaid leave or probationary period
    • X: Other situations
  • For absence periods over 6 months that start in the reference quarter, enter one of the following reasons:
    • L: Start of unpaid leave or probationary period
    • X: Other situations
