Use
As a consequence of the introduction of the Modern Migration Policy (MoMi) Act, employers have obligations to monitor and complete certain tasks for foreign employees. The tasks vary depending on the residency and work permits that apply to the foreign employee, but usually result in tasks that need to be monitored during the hiring process, during the period of active employment, and for a period after the employment period ends.
To support these obligations, the system can be used as follows:
- To store relevant data for foreign employees
- Residency and work permit data is stored in the Residence Status (0048) and the Work Permit (0094) infotypes.
- Note: You can create customer-specific entries for some of the fields of these infotypes, under Customizing for Personnel Administration under Personnel Data -> Residence Status -> Residence Status (Netherlands) and Work Permit (Netherlands).
- Income data is stored in the Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014) infotype.
- Note: Only the income that the employee has indicated is of interest for MoMi reporting purposes. This income must be specified using wage types with a specific evaluation class. For more information, refer to the Customizing activity Define MoMi Wage Types.
- To create relevant MoMi tasks and Monitoring of Tasks (0019) infotype records
- Run the MoMi Task Generation (RPIMORN0) report to create MoMi tasks and corresponding Monitoring of Tasks (0019) infotype records. This report uses the MoMi Eligibility (NLMOM) feature to identify and create relevant infotype records.
- If necessary, you can also manually create individual Monitoring of Tasks (0019) infotype records.
- To monitor relevant data for foreign employees
- You use the MoMi Task Monitoring (RPLMOMN0) report to check MoMi task records, for example, to update income values for foreign employees, or to check if specific documents are valid.
- You can also use the Monitoring of Tasks (0019) infotype record to maintain processing status, reminders, and comments.
