In this section of the Implementation Guide, you can define whether you want to use the economic zone corresponding to the employee's home address or the one corresponding to his or her workplace address.
This applies when the economic zone field in infotype 0561 (tax data) has an initial value. If it doesn't, then the value of this field will be used, and the paragraph above does not apply.
Standard settings
The standard SAP R/3 system uses the economic zone corresponding to the workplace address.
Activities
If you want to use the economic zone corresponding to the employee's workplace address for tax exemption purposes, you don't need to do anything.
If you want to use the economic zone corresponding to the employee's home address, enter the value 1 for constant GZOEC.
If you want to define the value for the economic zone at employee level, then you need to record the appropriate value in infotype 0561 (tax data).
