To determine which tax method to use for a specific payment, the standard SAP R/3 system uses the settings carried out in the Implementation Guide (IMG), section Mexican Payroll -> Taxes -> Income tax ->Assign tax tables to Employee group/subgroup.

Activities

If you want define your own user-specific tax method, different to the ones proposed by the sandard, you should include function module EXIT_HMXCISR0_005 of SAP enhancement HRPC3201 in your project, and change it according to your needs.

You should only perform this activity if you fulfil the following conditions:

  • The SAP standard processes do not meet your requirements.
  • You have a good knowledge of ABAP/4 programming.
  • This function module should be used only for the purposes mentioned above. If you use it differently, it is not guaranteed to produce correct results within the system.
