In SAP R/3 standard system, payment wage types that are used in the state tax calculation cumulate in the Payroll Tax Basis wage type (/118).

If your company has several branches in different states, you will need to calculate different state taxes with different cumulation bases.

Activities

To do this:

  1. Include function module EXIT_HMXCALC0_002 of SAP enhancement HRPC3201 in your project.
  2. Change this function module according to your needs.
  3. Set your wage types so that they cumulate in the cumulation bases that you have included in the function module.

Warning

You should only perform this activity if you fulfil the following conditions:

  • Standard SAP processes do not meet your requirements.
  • You have a good knowledge of ABAP/4 programming.
  • This function module should be used only for the purposes mentioned above. If you use it differently, the system is not guaranteed to produce correct results.

Further notes

For further information, see the documentation for function module EXIT_HMXCALC0_002.

For additional information on how to use this transaction, see the application help.
