Use
In this Customizing activity you configure if the system validates the entries in field District of infotype Addresses (0006).
Requirements
Standard settings
In the default system, the entry validation in field District is not activated.
Activities
Run this activity and choose the value applicable in the CKDIS configuration setting:
- Value 0: Does not validate the district
This is the default option value. In this case, field District of infotype Addresses (0006) is a free text field, without any search help. Once this field is read by the legal reports, an incorrect entry can cause errors in these reports. Moreover, the district number is not recorded in the field.
- Value 1: Validates the district
If you select this value, field District of infotype Addresses (0006) starts having a search help as a selection list consisting of the district name and number.
Note
In order to update the district list used in the field search help, you have to run the subsequent Customizing activity, Update districts for infotype Addresses (0006).
