In this step, you can set up your own payment types in addition to the Payment types provided by SAP for the Loans infotype (0045), and program your processing logic. You can use such a payment type to specify your own variant of a loan payment or repayment, for example, a repayment that should incur just once a year.

We recommend that you use the payment types provided by SAP and only set up your own payment types in the case of exceptions.

Example

You want to set up a special repayment that should only incur once a year, for example, in March. To do so, create the payment type 9123 (March payment) and the wage type 9123 (March payment) in the step Set Up Customer Payment Types. You finally specify processing of this wage type in the step Program Processing Logic for Payment Types.
