In order to calculate the distribution of interest for the Savings Fund, the standard SAP R/3 system calculates interest factors using the following formula:

Interest factor = Individual average balance / Total sum of balances     ,                    ,individual averages

If you want to use a method other than the one proposed by the standard SAP R/3 system to calculate interest factors, include function module EXIT_HMXCIFA0_002 of SAP enhancement HRPC3201 in your project and change this function module according to your needs.
