Standard settings

The standard SAP system contains some task types.

Recommendation

Use this functionality.

Activities

  1. Check existing task types.
  2. If necessary, define new task types.
    1. In the field Lead/follow-up time, enter the time interval you want to have between the task and the reminder.
    2. Assign a unit to the specified time interval.
    3. In the field Operator, determine whether you want to be reminded by the system before or after the end of the task.
    4. By using the fields Date of Task and Reminder date, you can determine which type of message the user receives, if the task or the reminder date falls before the current date.
    5. In the field Additional check, determine additional checks, if necessary.

Further notes

You can also create date records dynamically by using "Dynamic actions".
