The rule IN71 provides for generic taxability of wage types. This covers
4 heads F, E, A, R
F stands for WTs that are fully taxable.
E stands for WTs that are fully exempt.
A stands for WTs that are to be taxed as allowances, they will be taken
for projetion for the whole year based on a cumulation of t amount paid
in the previous payroll periods, the amount paid in the current payroll
period and the projection of the current amount for the balance payroll
periods in the year.
R stands for WTs that are paid as reimbursements and taxed i.e. the
amount paid in the previous payroll periods, the amount paid in the
current payroll period is taken into account but there is no projection
for future periods.
