In this activity you set the allowance rules to be calculated, based on the basic salary which are grouped under blocks or slabs. This is achieved by associating a wage type with additional wage type amounts, basic slabs for which the calculation rules apply and the component of Reimbursements, Allowance and Perks (RAPs) that the wage type is used for.

Activities

  1. Enter the applicable wage type,and the additional wage type amount to be considered for calculation of RAPs in the Wage type and Rap Amount fields respectively.
  2. Enter the basic slabs to which the calculation rules apply in the Basic Slab field.
  3. Specify if the employee's characteristics such as personal details are to be checked for eligibility in the Elig check field.
  4. Select the component for which the wage type applies in the RAP indicator field.
  5. Enter the currency and the validity period.
  6. Save your entries.
