  • Salary ranges

Note: The system reads the amount of the wage type that you have maintained as parameter 2 of Other Statutory and Non-Statutory Deductions payroll function (INUCD) to determine the salary range in which the employee falls.

  • Employee contribution amount or rate for each salary range
  • Employer contribution amount or rate for each salary range

Other Statutory and Non-Statutory Deductions payroll function (INUCD) reads this table view to determine the employee and employer contributions for Other Statutory and Non-Statutory Deductions of various types, for example, Labour Welfare Fund (LWF).

Example

For Slab Code LWAP01, you can maintain the following details:

Serial No.    Range    Employee    Employer

    end    Contribution Amount    Contribution Amount

1    1499    0    0

2    1999    5    10

3    2999    15    20

Note: You have maintained parameter 2 of Other Statutory and Non-Statutory Deductions payroll function (INUCD) as LWF Basis wage type (/140).

  • Between INR 1500 and 1999, employee contribution for LWF is INR 5 and employer contribution is INR 10
  • Between INR 2000 and 2999, employee contribution for LWF is INR 15 and employer contribution is INR 20
