Use

In this activity, you maintain the Taxation of interest rate advantage Personnel Calculation Rule (INJ2) for the Interest Rate Advantage to cumulate in

  • Loan-Int. Rate adv Taxed Wage Type (/3J1), if you want the Interest Rate Advantage to be taxed.

    The value of Loan-Int. Rate adv Taxed Wage Type (/3J1) is then cumulated in Annual Perk Wage Type (/127).

  • Loan-Int. Rt adv not Taxed Wage Type (/3J2), if you do not want the Interest Rate Advantage to be taxed.

Requirements

You must have configured the system to calculate the Interest Rate Advantage. To do this, go to the IMG under Payroll India -> Company Loans -> Master Data -> Create Loan Conditions.

Interest Rate Advantage on Company Loans as Perk Payroll Function (INLON) calculates this Interest Rate Advantage.

Standard settings

Activities

To maintain the Taxation of interest rate advantage Rule (INJ2)

  1. Create a modified personnel calculation rule. To do so, copy the Taxation of interest rate advantage Rule (INJ2) to a customer specific personnel calculation rule and modify the copied rule to meet your requirements.
  2. In the personnel calculation schema equivalent to Loan accounting Schema (INLN), activate your new rule and deactivate the standard Taxation of interest rate advantage Rule (INJ2).
