In this activity, you define the Contribution type in the name range A to Z. For every Contribution type, you must also specify percentages for:

  • Ee Contribution
  • Er Contribution
  • Er Pension Contribution
  • PF Admin Charges
  • EDLI Contribution
  • EDLI Admin
  • PF Interest
  • PF Eligibility
  • VPF Contribution

Activities

  1. Enter a Contribution type in the Cont type field. The contribution type must be within the name range A to Z.
  2. Enter the date until when the contribution type is valid in the To field.
  3. Enter the date from when the contribution is valid in the From field.
  4. Enter the statutory percentage of employee contribution in the Ee Contrib field.
  5. Enter the statutory percentage of employer contribution in the Er Contrib field.
  6. Enter the statutory percentage of employer pension contribution in the Er Pen ctr field.
  7. Enter the percentage of PF administration charges in the PF Adm.Ch field.
  8. Enter the percentage of EDLI contribution type in the EDLI Contr field.
  9. Enter the percentage of EDLI Administration charges in the EDLI admin field.
  10. Enter the percentage of PF interest in the field PF inter field.
  11. Enter the percentage of VPF
  12. Enter the PF Eligibility pay
  13. Select Table View -> Save to save your entries.
  14. Set the Determining Cont type, PF Ref no and Pen Ref no (40EPF) feature to return the newly created contribution type. You set this feature in IMG Payroll India by going to Statutory Social Contribution -> Provident Fund -> Maintain Contribution Details for Provident Fund.
