Use

Using this IMG activity, you can maintain the upper and the lower limits for Bonus payment, as per the Payment of Bonus Act (POBA). The upper and lower limits must be expressed as a percentage.

In the table view Payroll Constants (V_T511K),

  • Maintain the lower limit for Bonus payment using the Bonus-Minimum % Constant (BNNPR)
  • Maintain the upper limit for the Bonus payment using the Bonus-Maximum % Constant (BNXPR)
  • Maintain the standard rate using for computing tax for offcycle bonus payments using Bonus Payment - TDS % (BNTDS) constant

While computing employee bonus, as per POBA, the India specific Bonus calculation Report (HINCBON0), also refers to the values of the constants that you maintain in this table view Payroll Constants (V_T511K).
