Use
With this Customizing activity you can populate the field of the region code ("département") of personnel subareas belonging to the same personnel area if they are not located in the same region.
If the personnel subareas of a personnel area are located in the same region, this activity is not necessary as the region code is already populated at personnel area level.
The region code identifies the organizational units coming under the local Alsace-Moselle plan.
Requirements
The work places of your company have different personnel SUBareas, but not different personnel areas. The personnel subareas of one personnel area are located in different regions.
Standard settings
Activities
Fill the personnel subareas' region code ONLY if it is not identic to the personnel area they belong to.
Example
The personnel area FR01 includes the personnel subareas 0001 and 0002. The region code corresponding to personnel area FR01 is 75. The work place corresponding to personnel subarea 0001 is located in Paris, you do not need to populate the personnel subarea's 0001 region code field as it is identic to the region code of the personnel area FR01 it is attached to. On the other hand, the work place corresponding to the personnel subarea 0002 is located in Strasbourg. Here, you need to populate the field with the region code 67 for the personnel subarea 0002.
