Use
The payroll calculates the number of hours worked in part-time contracts using decimals. Nevertheless, the FAN file only accepts the number of hours worked without decimals. This affects the contribution values in cases of inconsistencies between the number of hours in the payroll and in the FAN file.
In this Customizing activity you can specify the system behavior in respect to the calculation of the hours worked in part-time contracts. Therefore, you change the value of the situation Decimals for part-time hours (SDHTP).
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system, the value of situation SDHTP is 0.
Activities
Select one of the following options:
- Option 0: Calculate with decimals
The payroll calculates the number of hours worked in part-time contracts using decimals. Wage type Hours worked (part-time) (/3CS) is generated.
- Option 1: Calculate without decimals
The payroll calculates the number of hours worked in part-time contracts not using decimals and rounding up. Wage type Hours worked w/o decimals (/3CR) is generated.
Note
If you choose option 1 and execute the retroactive calculations in the payroll using a start date later than the start date of option 1, problems might appear in report Social Insurance contribution models (RPCTC0E0). If this happens, adjust the FAN files used in report FAN file management ( RPCFANE0).
SAP recommends changning value of the SDHTP situation before generating the actual payroll result.
