Use
You use this IMG activity to define the calculation basis for the personal bonus.
In the infotype Activity with Higher Rate of Pay (0509), you can select the following detailed rules for calculation of the bonus:
- Permanent Substitution
- Temporary Substitution
- Interim Management (TVöD)
- Management on a Trial Basis (TVöD)
Depending on the decision value for the own position and the decision value for the higher position, here you can define the bonus wage type, the module for indirect evaluation of the bonus wage type, and further details for the evaluation of the bonus wage type.
Indirect Evaluation
For indirect evaluation of the bonus wage type, you can use the modules HDAUB and HDAUC each with the module variants A and B.
- You use the module HDAUB (Difference) if you want to calculate the bonus from the difference amount of the salary for the higher position and the salary for the own position.
- You use the module HDAUC (Percentage Calculation) if you want to calculate the bonus as a percentage of the salary for the own position.
Module variants A and B exist for both modules
- Module variant A is used for permanent substitution. In this module variant, the bonus is calculated based on monthly amounts.
- Module variant B is used for temporary substitution. In this module variant, the bonus is calculated based on hourly rates for the number of hours defined in the infotype "Activity with a Higher Rate of Pay".
For the detailed rule Temporary Substitution, module variant B must be used. For all other detailed rules, module variant A must be used.
Note that in the wage type features of the actual bonus wage type, the module HDAUA must always be entered. Based on the settings made in this work step, the system then determines whether the module HDAUB or HDAUC is ultimately used for the calculation.
Example
For the activity with a higher rate of pay in the TVöD area, you want to use the difference method (module HDAUB) for calculating of the personal bonus for employees in pay grade groups 9 to 15 for a permanent substitution.
You want to use wage type OD45 as the bonus wage type.
In this case, you need to make an entry with the following characteristics: Value of own position: TVOD2 TVöD Salary group 9 to 15
Value for higher activity: TVOD Employees TVöD
Control: 01 Permanent Substitution
Module for ind. calculation HDAUB
Module variant A
Wage type OD45 Personal bonus
