In this step, you define the elements of the family-related bonus for each internal and external family-related bonus class. You also maintain the amount for each element. The system uses these elements and their amounts for the indirect valuation of the family-related bonus.
Note that the following elements must be assigned to each family-related bonus class:
- LD: Single element
- VH: Spousal element
- V1: Half spousal element
- KI: Child element per child
- K3: Child element per child (from 3rd child)
- K1: Increase amount for first child
- KE: Increase amount for first child (from 2nd child)
The element must be assigned even if the amount of an element is zero. If it is not assigned, the indirect valuation terminates with an error message.
Requirements
You have checked the assignment of family-related bonus classes in the previous step (Assign Pay Scale Classes/Family-Related Bonus Classes to Pay Scale Groups) and maintained assignments that did not exist.
Recommendation
We recommend that you check and adjust the amounts for the individual elements after each collective agreement adjustment.
Activities
- Maintain the amounts for the elements in the family-related bonus.
- To include new family-related bonus classes in the list or to assign a new element to a family-related bonus class, choose New entries.
- Save your entries.
