Use
You use this IMG activity to maintain the amounts of vested payments from cost-of-living allowances and family-related bonuses.
In this IMG activity, you maintain the amounts of the individual components (child components, child increase amounts, and so on) based on the assignments of the vested payment classes for the pay scale groups in the collective agreement for the public sector (TVöD) and the collective agreement for public sector of states (TV-L), and the assignments of the family-related bonus classes to the pay scales at the time of transition to the TVöD/TV-L.

Example
The SAP standard delivery uses informative names for the vested payment classes, such as "TVOED BUND W" or "TVOED VKA O E10-E15".
The determination of the amounts can be described in brief as follows:
- Using the old pay scale data from the legacy table, read table T5D5L (see IMG activity Check Assignment of Cost-of-Living Allowance Classes to Pay Scales) and note the family-related bonus class.
- Using the new pay scale data (applicable at the time of evaluation), read table T5D5LN (see IMG activity Assign Vested Payment Classes to Pay Scales) and note the vested payment class.
- Use the family-related bonus class and the vested payment class from table T510QN to calculate the amounts of the family-related bonus components.
