Use
In this Customizing activity, you set up the composition of the values for the following columns in the employee form of the earnings structure survey:
- 20 (Paid overtime)
- 22 (Total earnings for overtime)
- 23 (Bonuses for shift, Saturday, Sunday, holiday, or night work)
You form these values by encoding the following cumulation wage types:
- STME (20: Paid overtime)
- BRME (22: Monthly overtime)
- BRZU (23: Monthly bonuses)
The paid working hours in column 19 are only stated for hourly wage earners. In the standard system, the hours paid here are determined from the shift schedule (field DIVGV of table WPBP).
If, in this Customizing activity, you make an entry for the cumulation wage type STBZ (19: total number of paid hours), the automatic determination of the number of hours is overridden and the number of hours from cumulation wage type STBZ is given.
Activities
Encode the cumulation wage types with your relevant payroll wage types.
Further notes
In this Customizing activity, you do not usually encode the following columns:
- 21 (Gross monthly earnings)
- 24-25 (Employment tax, employee SI contributions)
- 27-28 (Gross annual earnings)
- 37 (Remuneration conversion)
This is because these cumulation wage types are formed from technical wage types, using relevant entries in table V_T596I.
If, as an exception, you need to modify the composition of these cumulation wage types, you have the following options in this Customizing activity:
- If you want to assign additional wage types to cumulation wage types, enter the relevant wage types in the customer table
- If you want to ignore wage types that are assigned to cumulation wage types according to table V_T5961, enter the relevant wage types in the customer table and enter "-" in the mathematical symbol column. You thus balance the values of these wage types
